Agnese VardanegaBorn in Rome in 1966, I graduated in Sociology from the University of Rome “La Sapienza”, where obtained a PhD in Methodology of Social and Political Sciences in 1997. I have experience in teaching methodology of social research (at a graduate, postgraduate and doctoral level) and social theory as an associate professor at the University of Teramo and as a visiting professor at the University of Rome “La Sapienza”.

Currently, I am an associate professor at the University of Teramo, Faculty of Political Sciences, where I teach Techniques of Social Analysis (undergraduate programme in Tourism and Sports Studies).

I am a member of the programme board for the PhD in Local Development and Social Policies (University of Teramo) and for the PhD in Applied Research in Social Science (University of Rome "La Sapienza").

Furthermore, I am the coordinator of the Laboratory of Social Research, in the Department of “Theories and Policies of Social Development” and the editor of a multilingual working papers series, with an international editorial board (Territori Sociologici), published by Aracne Editrice (Rome)
